    Founder / Producer

    Peter Lawson has built an impressive career over the past two decades as a production executive and Executive Producer collaborating with top directing, producing, and acting talent. He has headed up production divisions at Miramax Films, Thunder Road, The Weinstein Company and Open Road Films. Lawson was an Executive Producer and central to the creative and commercial success of Tom McCarthy’s critically acclaimed and Oscar award winning film SPOTLIGHT and the Keanu Reeves action franchise JOHN WICK. His other credits include SLEEPLESS, starring Jamie Foxx and Michelle Monaghan, Oliver Stone’s SNOWDEN and John Hillcoat’s TRIPLE NINE.

    Bonnie McBride

    Head of Production / Producer

    Bonnie McBride is an AACTA-nominated producer who heads up Production at Peter Lawson’s Australian production company Steel Springs Pictures. Bonnie has worked consistently across documentary and drama production for the past nine years, most recently producing docu-drama THE SPEEDWAY MURDERS, currently streaming on Hulu in North America and Netflix in Australia. Bonnie’s producing credits include Pia Borg’s docu-drama DEMONIC (Cannes 2019); and documentaries EMBRACE: KIDS, MAKING A MARK, and GETTING THEIR ACTS TOGETHER for ABC. Bonnie’s work in drama includes Luke Bracey thriller MERCY ROAD as Associate Producer; and Netflix sci-fi thriller I AM MOTHER as Head of Production for SLA Films. In 2024 she was awarded the kwpx 'Creative Thinker Award' as one of South Australia’s ‘40 under 40’.

    Producers’ Assistant

    Nicole Schoen is Steel Springs Pictures’ Producers’ Assistant. Her TV & Film experience began as an Actor, and diversified into Talent Management, Casting, Extras Coordination, Production, and into Producing.

    Nicole produced Manuel Ashman’s short film SEMAPHORIA. She Associate Produced KOOKY CRAZY NO GOOD NEIGHBOUR. Nicole has produced music videos for an array of Australian artists including Kirin J Callinan’s IF I COULD SING with Conor Mercury, Avalon Kane’s THE ONLY ONE WHO KNOWS ME IS ME with Bryce Kraehenbuehl, and CATCHING FEELINGS by Jordie Tomas with Luca Sardelis.
